John Cowan has been spearheading our Dirt Jump program for some time now. John is the playing captain of the Kona Clump, and contributes to the design of all of our Dirt Jump bikes. You can also see some of Cowan's handy work at the Kona Jump Farm in Whistler, and at his Back Yard Jam in San Diego. If you see him at a Kona Bike Park, pick up a hoe or a shovel and get busy. Moving dirt isn't always about big diesel Tonka toys. New with The Clump in 2005 was Paul Basagoitia, who proved that he belonged by taking 1st place again in Whistler's premiere Crankworx event. John and Paul are the reason why Kona and Dirt Jumping are synonymous terms.
